The Host

A monster emerges from Seoul's Han River and focuses its attention on attacking people. One victim's loving family does what it can to rescue her from its clutches. The monster is a mutated fish . Some doctors dump chemicals in the sewer which effected a fish which caused it to become a monster. This movie is a Drama and comedy. 

Kite Runner

This movie is about a boy name Admir jan .That grow up as a coward he watched his friend get beat and sexually attack and, he ran away. The two won a competition together. Admir gets his friend family fired from working for his dad because he could not face his friend Hassan. A couple of weeks later the city get taking over by another tribe and forces Admir and his dad out of town. They move to the united states to start over. Admir decides to become a writer because he was told he is a good story teller and he enjoys it. Hassan dad asks him to come back to packstand to do good. Admir finds out that Hassan is dead and his wife too. They have a son that was tookin. Admir finds out that Hassan is his brother. So he goes to get his nephew. The is a good story because a lot of kids run away from there problems. Well Admir decides to stand up for once in his life and gets him back America with his wife to start a new family.

Maria full of Grace

María becomes Pregant by a man she does not love. After unjust treatment from her boss she quits work despite her family's vehement disapproval. On her way to bogotio to find a new job, she is offered a position as a drug mule Desperate, she accepts the risky offer, and swallows 62 wrapped pellets of cocaine and flies to New york city with her immature friend Blanca. She goes to new york and her friends dies so they are force to run away take the drugs and go to the girls sister. The sister shows maria that it is good for her to stay in the us because of her baby. That it would be a better oppurnity for her and her baby. Well maria struggles to tell her that her sister was killed. They decide to give back the drugs send lucy back home to be berried. Maria decide to stay in the us.

Afghan star

This movie is about the afghan people who want to be a pop star. The give the people of there nation a chance to show their talent and, let the views vote. This is very similar to what we know as american idol.

This movie gives a democracy  on how showed win the grand prize meaning(the voters chose the winner).In afghan you risk your life to sing. You must stay at your religion for what every reason it is. You must be able to go by your cultures belief or others might get hurt.

This movie is about three third graders that want to become class monitor. This movie teaches about the importance of democracy .To prove their worthiness, the candidates must perform in three events.First is a talent show, where each candidate plays an instrument or sing sing. second is a debate, in which the candidates bring up the shortcomings their opponents as well as their own personal qualifications. and finally, each candidate must deliver a speech, an opportunity to appeal directly to classmates and ask for their votes. The outcome is the honest candidate that was best suited.

Mongolian Ping Pong

Bilike and his family have never seen a ping pong ball before. Him and his family live without electricity and, running water in a solitary home and vast steppe grasslands. So the little boy starts trying to see what the small item was. He went to his grandma and asked her what it was because, she was known for being wise. she said that the ball came from the heavens. That it was a sprits pearl. So the little boy hears something about ping pong but the never seen it. The little boy goes to school and finds out that he found a ping pong. The story show that in some parts in the world. Things that we do in are urbanization  are a mystery to people of a different culture or beliefs.

Weepin camel

This movie is about a camel that was born without a Mother. The mother did not want the calf after a difficult birth. The people in the movie are people of a poor Culture. That Survive by farming and, doing things for their self.  This movie is emotional because this is how teenagers feel when they have a parent or, friend that doesn’t except them. They go into town to find someone that might know how to get the camel and its calf to reunite  The find a musician that will perform magic on the camel and the calf. The magic works on the calf and the camel and, the celebrate by eating.
